Overview

Mohamed is a lawyer with over 15 years of experience acquired in international and private law firms in Labour, Employment and Immigration law.  He was called to the Quebec Bar Association in 2009.  His labour and employment law practice encompasses all matters pertaining to this field, including issues relating to the interpretation and application of collective agreements and the representation of his clients before the tribunals.  Mohamed also assists his clients in the management of their human ressources and provide them with legal advise to help them improve and manage their human capital. He advises companies and institutions operating in the private and public sectors.

Mohamed also practises in immigration law.  He prepares and represents his clients in various immigration programs in the province of Quebec and in Canada.  For instance, he prepares bids for investor immigrants, entrepreneurs and skilled worked and represents applicants before the Quebec and Canadian authorities.  Mohamed also represents employers who wish to hire foreign workers.  He assists his clients through the immigration process including in obtaining the Canadian citizenship.  His expertise in labour and employment law allows him to advise and accompany his business immigrant clients in their start-up or business acquisition projects in Quebec or Canada.

Mohamed has given more than 80 conferences in the private and public sectors on various immigration, labour and employment matters with concrete human resources recommendation.  He also has drafted over 60 publications on various labour and employment matters with recommendations or comments from a human resources perspective.

His university years were marked by numerous awards, including Hydro-Québec’s prestigious Excellence Award for Master’s of Law.  He participated in a number of exchange programs, including one in France at the Université Jean-Moulin Lyon III, where he studied European Union Law, and another in China at the China University of Political Science and Law, where he studied several facets of Chinese Law.
